CENTURY 21 TO ROLL OUT MOST TRANSFORMATIVE SOFTWARE INFRASTRUCTURE IN ITS HISTORY

Century 21 Australasia is preparing to launch the largest AI-powered software upgrade in the company's history, with revolutionary changes to its proprietary CRM platform set to go live across the network this quarter.

The enhanced 'E-sales' CRM system introduces a suite of AI tools designed to significantly increase agent efficiency, lead qualification and listing conversion, including technology believed to be a first for the Australian real estate industry.

Among the new features is AI-driven avatar technology that allows agents to create highly realistic digital versions of themselves capable of following up enquiries, qualifying buyers, encouraging finance pre-approval and identifying potential sellers, all without requiring direct agent involvement at the initial stages.

The upgrade also introduces AI-powered appraisal intelligence, with the system able to scan surrounding areas when an appraisal is generated, identify comparable properties and create multiple graded leads. The technology can estimate how long properties have been held, approximate available equity and assess the likelihood of a listing being secured, allowing agents to prioritise their prospecting efforts.

The Chairman and Owner of Century 21 Australasia, Charles Tarbey, said that the real estate industry is going through a period of profound change due to AI but he doesn't believe this is something to fear.

"In my career spanning over 53 years in real estate, I have witnessed many dramatic inflection points including the creation of the Personal Computer, widespread adoption of the internet and the launch of online listing portals. The industry has always evolved with change and there is an argument to be made that it has even been strengthened by the adoption of many new technologies over time.

"I am a firm believer that a human agent will always be at the centre of a property transaction due to the comfort and familiarity they provide to sellers that are monetising what is likely their most valuable asset," Mr Tarbey said.

"At Century 21, we started with this premise but then looked to identify key areas where AI could help an agent be more efficient and effective. The goal of the new software is not to replace agents, but to empower them with new tools that both free up their time and in a sense, allow them to be in multiple places at once," Mr Tarbey said.

Additional features include the ability for agents to manage multiple non-critical conversations simultaneously across channels such as SMS, as well as tools that can instantly transform still property images into dynamic video content with moving people inserted into the visuals.

The software was beta tested across the Century 21 network throughout 2025, with further enhancements already planned for rollout later this year.

"The role of the agent remains central to every transaction. What this technology does is give agents more time to focus on high-value conversations, negotiations and relationships — the parts of the job where humans will always matter most," Mr Tarbey said.

Century 21 is a global real estate leader with nearly 130,000 independent sales professionals operating in 81 countries. It is also the largest residential real estate network in the Asia-Pacific region.
